Ferrari is a renowned luxury car brand, synonymous with prestige, speed, and fame. Limited numbers of Ferrari supercars are produced each year, sometimes even custom-designed for individual clients, making them highly valuable on the market.

It’s hard to believe that almost 20 years after its production ended, you can still experience the thrill of peeling off the protective coverings on a Ferrari Enzo supercar.

But that’s exactly the opportunity being offered to a lucky supercar enthusiast.

Learn about the 2003 Ferrari Enzo.

The 2003 Ferrari Enzo supercar, currently being sold in Ontario, Canada, was originally shipped to Japan when it was new.

However, it was never registered, which means that today, the supercar has only traveled 141 miles (227 km) on the odometer, most of which were test-driven by Ferrari at the factory.
The reason why it was never registered is still unclear, but this means that many parts of the supercar have not even been touched since leaving the factory.

In the photos provided by RM Sotheby’s, where the sale is being handled, the factory protective plastic is still present on the footwell, behind the seats, on the side sill, and in other locations.
Even the key is still left in the original plastic bag, although it has been pierced to make it drivable. The factory-fitted three-piece luggage set is also still in its original packaging.

In addition to being virtually untouched, this Ferrari supercar is also one-of-a-kind. Of the estimated nine Enzos finished in Argento Nürburgring 101/C paint, it is claimed to be the only one with Cuio leather seats—all other cars have black or red interiors.

Being limited to just 400 units during its production run from 2002-2004, each Ferrari Enzo fetched millions of dollars. The price varied based on each car’s history, unique features, and condition.

Like other Ferrari Enzo supercars, this car is equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine with a capacity of 6.0 liters, producing 651 horsepower (485 kW/660 PS) from the factory. That power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a six-speed “F1” automatic gearbox.

Offered by RM Sotheby’s, the car is currently located in Blenheim, Ontario, not far from the Detroit border. However, in Canada, it is temporarily imported from Japan, so the buyer may have to pay import taxes if they win this auction, which runs from March 15 to March 17.
This is not the first time that such an unregistered Enzo has been sold. Looking back to 2021, a rare Roso Scuderia-colored 2003 Ferrari Enzo with less than 600 km on the odometer was sold in the United States for $3.8 million.

Q & A

Q1. What is a Ferrari Enzo supercar?
A1. The Ferrari Enzo is a limited-production supercar that was built by Ferrari from 2002 to 2004. It was named after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari, and was built to commemorate Ferrari’s success in Formula One racing.

Q2. Why is a brand new 2003 Ferrari Enzo up for sale?
A2. It is very unusual for a brand new 2003 Ferrari Enzo to be up for sale, as production of the car was limited to just 399 units. The car’s current owner may have held onto it as a collectible, or it could be a dealer trying to sell a rare and valuable car for a profit.

Q3. How much does a brand new 2003 Ferrari Enzo supercar cost?
A3. The price of a brand new 2003 Ferrari Enzo can vary depending on its condition, mileage, and other factors.
